ショート・スケール・フェンダーギターの名品「ムスタング」。
1966年製個体です。

24"ショートスケールのネックと薄型でコンパクトなボディ、文字通りダイナミックなアクションが特長の専用トレモロ・ユニット、"フェイズ・アウト"サウンドが出力できる2つのピックアップ・スイッチによる軽やかなサウンドは、StratocasterやTelecasterとは異なる独特な魅力を持ちます。

ナット幅約41mmの"B"ネック仕様で、程よく厚みがありやや平たい形状グリップと、ラウンド貼りのローズウッド指板のネックです。

ブラックボビンのピックアップ、スタックポール製のポットを備え、電装パーツはオリジナルコンディションを維持しています。
控えめの出力による繊細な音色は緩やかな弦テンションのよる、ヴィンテージ・ムスタングならではの音色をお楽しみいただけます。

ブリッジは後年のミリ規格のものに交換されており、その他ストリングガイド、アームが交換されています。
ピックガードにひびがございますが、幸いスイッチの動作、ピックアップの高さ調節への影響はなく、問題なくご使用いただけます。

当店入荷時ナット、フレット交換を施工。ナロートールサイズのフレットを選定し、見た目の風合いを損なうことなく快適な演奏性に調整済みです。
(トラスロッドは締め方向に十分な余裕があり、弦を張った状態での管理をおすすめいたします。)

'70年代ブラックカバリングのムスタング用ケース、アームが付属いたします。

The Mustang is a masterpiece among short-scale Fender guitars; this particular unit dates back to 1966.

It features a 24-inch short-scale neck, a slim and compact body, and a dedicated tremolo unit known for its truly dynamic action. Its bright, airy tone—achieved via two pickup switches that allow for "out-of-phase" sounds—offers a unique charm distinct from that of the Stratocaster or Telecaster.

This guitar features a "B" neck (approx. 41mm nut width) with a profile that is moderately thick yet slightly flat, paired with a round-laminated rosewood fretboard.

It is equipped with black-bobbin pickups and Stackpole pots, retaining its original electronics.
The modest output delivers a delicate tone, while the gentle string tension provides the distinctive sound characteristic of vintage Mustangs.

The bridge has been replaced with a later-model metric version, and the string guide and tremolo arm have also been swapped out.
There is a crack in the pickguard; however, fortunately, this does not affect switch operation or pickup height adjustment, allowing for trouble-free use.

The nut and frets were replaced when the instrument arrived at our shop; we selected narrow-tall frets to ensure comfortable playability without compromising the guitar's original aesthetic.
(There is ample room for tightening the truss rod; we recommend keeping the instrument under string tension.)

It comes with a 1970s-style black-covered Mustang case and the tremolo arm.

This is a genuine vintage 1960s Mustang featuring attractive aging, including discoloration and weather checking. If you have been looking for one or are interested, please don't miss this opportunity.
