今回ご紹介いたしますのは、Les Paulの伝統的なスタイルと現代的な演奏性を融合させた「Les Paul Standard 2017 - Bourbon Burst -」でございます。

ボディトップには厳選されたAAAグレードのフィギュアド・メイプルを採用。光の当たり方によって揺らめくように表情を変える美しい杢目が特徴でBourbon Burstフィニッシュによってその立体感がより一層際立ち、深みのあるグラデーションが高級感のあるルックスを演出していますまた、本個体は、ピックガード取付穴がない仕様となっており、AAA Figured Mapleによる美しいトップ材をダイレクトに楽しめるルックスとなっている点も特徴のひとつです。Bourbon Burstの深みあるフィニッシュとフィギュアド・メイプルの表情がより強調され、シンプルかつ洗練された印象に仕上がっています。

ボディバックにはマホガニーを採用し、Ultra-Modern Weight Reliefによってボディ重量を抑えながら、Les Paulらしいサウンドと取り回しの良さを両立。ネックにはAsymmetrical Slim Taperを採用し、手に馴染みやすくスムーズなフィンガリングを実現。指板にはコンパウンド・ラディアスを採用しており、ローポジションでのコードワークからハイポジションでのリードプレイまで快適に対応します。

ピックアップにはBurstBucker Proを2基搭載。フロントでは太く甘いサウンド、リアでは力強くパンチのあるサウンドを生み出し、クリーンからハイゲインまで幅広いサウンドメイクに対応いたします。さらにコイルタップ機能を搭載しており、ハムバッカーサウンドに加えてシングルコイルライクなクリアで抜けの良いサウンドも出力可能。PhaseスイッチやPure Bypassスイッチも備えており、幅広いサウンドバリエーションを実現する実用性の高い仕様となっております。

状態といたしまして、使用に伴う擦り傷や打痕に加え、塗装のひびや欠け、色焼け、ウェザーチェック、パーツのくすみやサビなどが見られます。長年の使用による風合いが加わり、実機ならではの存在感を感じさせる1本となっております。フレット残り約90％、トラスロッドは締め方向、緩め方向共に余裕を残しており、動作も問題ございません。なお、本機はナットが交換された個体となります。

Founded in 1894, “Gibson” is one of America’s leading guitar brands, enjoying a strong following among guitarists worldwide.
Today, we’re introducing the “Les Paul Standard 2017 – Bourbon Burst –,” which blends the traditional style of the Les Paul with modern playability.

The body top features carefully selected AAA-grade figured maple. Characterized by a beautiful grain pattern that shimmers and shifts with the light, the Bourbon Burst finish further accentuates its three-dimensional depth, while the rich gradient creates a look of luxury. Additionally, this particular model is designed without pickguard mounting holes, allowing you to directly appreciate the beauty of the AAA figured maple top—another distinctive feature of this guitar. The deep Bourbon Burst finish and the character of the figured maple are further emphasized, resulting in a simple yet sophisticated appearance.

The body back is crafted from mahogany, and thanks to Ultra-Modern Weight Relief, the body weight is kept to a minimum while maintaining the classic Les Paul sound and excellent playability. The neck features an Asymmetrical Slim Taper, which fits comfortably in the hand and enables smooth fingering. The fingerboard features a compound radius, ensuring comfort whether playing chords in the lower positions or lead riffs in the higher positions.

It is equipped with two BurstBucker Pro pickups. The front pickup produces a rich, sweet tone, while the rear pickup delivers a powerful, punchy sound, supporting a wide range of tones from clean to high-gain. Additionally, it features a coil-tap function, allowing you to output not only humbucker tones but also clear, well-defined single-coil-like sounds. Equipped with a Phase switch and a Pure Bypass switch, this guitar offers highly practical specifications that enable a wide variety of sounds.

Regarding its condition, in addition to scratches and dents from use, there are cracks and chips in the finish, discoloration, weather checking, and tarnish or rust on some parts. These signs of long-term use add character, giving this guitar a distinctive presence unique to a well-played instrument. Approximately 90% of the frets remain, and the truss rod has ample adjustment range in both the tightening and loosening directions; it functions perfectly. Please note that the nut on this guitar has been replaced.

This guitar combines the rich, powerful sound and traditional looks unique to the Gibson Les Paul with modern playability and practicality.
