ヴィンテージをベースにした仕様と良質なサウンドから様々なモデルの元と成り、現在も後継モデルを輩出し続けているAmerican Vintageシリーズ。
今回ご紹介させて頂く品は62年のスペックを採用したテレキャスターモデル、American Vintage '62 Custom Telecaster。
経年による傷や風合いによって渋いルックスに至ったブラックカラーが武骨な印象を与え、周りのバインディングもよりシルエットを引き締めてくれます。

ネックシェイプはこの時代のAmerican Vintageらしいトラッドスタイルながら比較的スリムな握り心地を持つ"C"シェイプを採用。
トラッドスタイルの方々には握りやすく感じて頂け、モダンな方々には持ち替えた際の違和感も少ない良質な握り心地です。
指板面は7.25"Rを採用し、フレットもヴィンテージサイズを採用する等当時の弾き心地に近づけております。

木材構成はアルダーボディ、メイプルネック、ローズウッドの伝統的な仕様を採用。
芯の太さが感じられる中低域と伸びやかな高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップはオリジナルのAmerican Vintage Tele Single-Coilをマウント。
落ち着きのある出力値は歯切れの良さとまとまりの良さが感じられ、クリーントーンではフレーズやニュアンスの再現性も良好な音色が扱いやすいです。
ドライヴ時にはよりエッジ立ちが際立った鋭い音色が楽しめ、ロックジャンルやブルーススタイル等との相性も良いです。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、メッキ剥げ、一部塗装にひびや欠け、ウェザーチェック、ヤレ等が見受けられますがフレットの余力もあり、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてお使い頂けるコンディション。

ルックスのカッコ良さ、良質な演奏性、そしてサウンドの良さも魅力な品です。

The American Vintage series, based on vintage specifications and renowned for its quality sound, has served as the foundation for numerous models and continues to spawn successors to this day.
The item we present today is the American Vintage '62 Custom Telecaster, a Telecaster model featuring '62 specifications.
Its black finish, developed through years of wear and character, achieves a subdued look that lends a rugged impression, while the binding around the body further sharpens its silhouette.

The neck shape features a traditional “C” profile typical of this era's American Vintage guitars, yet offers a relatively slim and comfortable grip.
Traditional players will find it easy to hold, while modern players will experience minimal discomfort when switching between guitars, thanks to its excellent feel.
The fingerboard radius is 7.25", and vintage-sized frets are used, bringing it closer to the playing feel of the era.

The wood configuration follows traditional specifications: alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
This combination delivers a rich, full-bodied low-mid range and a bright, extended high end.

It's equipped with original American Vintage Tele Single-Coil pickups.
Their balanced output delivers crisp clarity and cohesive tone. Clean tones are highly expressive, faithfully reproducing phrasing and nuance with an easy-to-handle character.
When driven, they produce a sharper, more edgy tone, making them well-suited for rock genres and blues styles.

Condition shows signs of age and use: surface scratches, dents, tarnished/rusty hardware, plating wear, some paint cracks/chips, weather checking, and general wear. However, it has good fret life remaining and the truss rod works well, making it ready to play immediately.

This piece is appealing for its cool looks, excellent playability, and great sound.
