Ibanezの最高峰シリーズとして長年君臨し続けているj.Customシリーズ。
今回入荷致しました品は2016年に同シリーズ20周年を記念して制作された世界僅か20本のみ製作された希少なモデル、RG8570MW。
トップ材に4mm厚のマートル材を使用し、クリームカラーのピックアップ、ゴールドハードウェア、黒々とした選定されたローズウッド指板等非常に豪華な、そして特別感のある仕様を有したモデル。
マートルの杢目もフレイムとキルトが混ざったかの様なうねりのある迫力のある様相を持ち、木材の美しさを活かしたナチュラルカラーを採用した品です。

ネックシェイプはIbanezらしい薄さに仕上げられたRG J Custom Super Wizardを採用。
ネック裏の塗装もきめ細かいサテン仕上げが施されているので素早いポジション移動や長時間の演奏の中でも滑らかな弾き心地が楽しめます。
指板も緩やかな指板ラディアスとジャンボフレットを採用しており、テクニカルなフレーズも対応しやすい、j.Customらしい高い演奏性です。

木材構成はマートルトップ、アッシュバック、メイプルとウォルナットを合わせた5ピースのネック、ローズウッド指板からの組み合わせを採用。
まとまりの良さと芯の太さが印象的な中低域と明るさとハリがありながらも伸びやかな高域が印象的なバランスの良い構成です。

ピックアップにはDiMarzio Air Norton、True Velvet、Tone Zoneの王道の組み合わせをマウント。
HSH構成らしい幅広いジャンルにも対応しやすい組み合わせはクリーントーンでは木材のキャラクターも合わさり、音粒の揃いも良く、反応の良さが印象的です。
ハムバッカー時の骨太な音色やシングルコイルらしい軽快なサウンドの中でもサウンドのクリアさが感じられ、トーンやボリュームコントロールによって様々な表情を見せてくれます。
ドライヴ時にはハイゲインの中でも輪郭が崩れづらく、より厚みを増したパワフルな音色がロックやメタルジャンルを始め様々なシーンでも活躍してくれます。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、焼けが見受けられる他一部塗装に焼け、剥がれや痩せが見受けられますがフレットの減りも少なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好なこれからも末永くお使い頂ける良好なコンディション。

The j.Custom series has long reigned supreme as Ibanez's pinnacle line.
This newly arrived item is the rare RG8570MW model, one of only 20 ever made worldwide to commemorate the series' 20th anniversary in 2016.
Featuring a 4mm thick myrtle top, cream-colored pickups, gold hardware, and a richly selected black rosewood fingerboard, this model boasts exceptionally luxurious and distinctive specifications.
The myrtle grain exhibits a powerful, undulating appearance reminiscent of a blend of flame and quilted patterns, showcasing the wood's beauty through its natural color finish.

The neck shape employs the signature Ibanez thin RG J Custom Super Wizard profile.
The back of the neck features a fine satin finish, ensuring smooth playability during rapid position shifts and extended playing sessions.
The fingerboard incorporates a gentle radius and jumbo frets, delivering the high playability characteristic of j.Custom models, making it well-suited for technical phrasing.

The wood configuration combines a mahogany top, ash back, a 5-piece neck blending maple and walnut, and a rosewood fingerboard.
This balanced construction delivers impressive mid-low frequencies with cohesive, substantial core presence, alongside bright, resilient highs that maintain a smooth extension.

It mounts the classic DiMarzio pickup combination: Air Norton, True Velvet, and Tone Zone.
This HSH configuration offers versatility across genres. Clean tones showcase the wood's character, delivering well-defined notes and impressive responsiveness.
The humbucker mode delivers a robust tone, while the single-coil settings offer a light, airy sound, both maintaining clarity. The tone and volume controls allow for a wide range of expressive possibilities.
When driven, the sound retains its contour even at high gain levels, offering a thicker, more powerful tone that excels in rock, metal, and various other genres.

Condition: While showing signs of age and use—including scratches, dents, tarnish/rust on parts, and burn marks—as well as some paint burn, peeling, and thinning in areas, the fret wear is minimal and the truss rod functions well. Overall, it's in excellent condition for long-term use.
