Explorer 76をFRTトレモロ付きに大胆モディファイ!!

1958年にコリーナギターズとして、Flying Vと共にデビューしたExplorer、その先鋭的デザインは当時受け入れづらくわずかな生産数となりました。
1970年代、ハードロックの台頭により、そのサウンドのイメージにピッタリとくるデザインとして再評価され、1975年に再生産されるようになり現在までそのスタイルの
モデルとなって生産されています。

HR/HMのスタイルとして、派手なアーミング奏法がございますがレギュラーのExplorerにはアームが付いておりませんが、こちらは大胆にFRTタイプのダブルロック式トレモロが取り付けられています!!

質量の大きなMahoganyボディは、トレモロのルーティングを行なっても充分な鳴りを実現しています。

ネックはMahogany材をボディにDeep Jointセットネック、しっかりとボディと一体となって鳴ってくれます。指板には当時Classic Whiteカラーの仕様であるEbonyとなっておりRosewoodに比べタイトなサウンドとなっています。ヘッドバックにレンチホルダーが取り付けられています。

ピックアップはパワフルなオリジナルのフロントに496R、リアには500T、セラミックマグネットのパワフルなピックアップです。

ブリッジには、この個体の最大の特長でもある、Gotohのダブルロック式FRTタイプをビルトインモディファイ!!更にESPアーミングアジャスターが取り付けられ、アーミングプレイでも安定したチューニングを提供します。

コントロールは2vol.1to 3wayセレクターとシンプルで操作しやすいものてなっています。

ネックの状態に問題はございません。フレットも大きな凹みはなく、充分に残っています。

ストップテールピースのアンカーの穴埋め跡がございます。

経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、メッキ剥げ、塗装のひびや欠け、ヤレ、色焼けがございます。


やってみたいが、工賃が心配、サウンドの変化が気になってモディファイに踏み切れない、勿体無くて出来ない等でやってみたくても出来ない方、お勧めです。

This Explorer 76 has been boldly modified with an FRT tremolo!

The Explorer, which debuted in 1958 alongside the Flying V as part of the Korina Guitars line, had a cutting-edge design that was difficult to accept at the time, resulting in a small production run.
In the 1970s, with the rise of hard rock, its design was re-evaluated as a perfect fit for the sound image of the genre, and it was put back into production in 1975, and models of this style have been produced ever since.

While HR/HM style often involves flashy whammy bar techniques, regular Explorers don't have a tremolo arm, but this one has been boldly modified with a double-locking FRT-type tremolo!

The substantial mahogany body provides ample resonance even after the tremolo routing.

The neck is made of mahogany and features a deep-joint set neck construction, ensuring excellent resonance and integration with the body. The fingerboard is made of ebony, a feature of the Classic White color specification at the time, resulting in a tighter sound compared to rosewood. A wrench holder is attached to the back of the headstock.

The pickups are powerful original pickups: a 496R in the neck position and a 500T in the bridge position, both powerful ceramic magnet pickups.

The bridge features a built-in Gotoh double-locking FRT-type tremolo, the biggest feature of this instrument! Furthermore, an ESP arming adjuster is installed, providing stable tuning even during whammy bar playing.

The controls are simple and easy to use, with two volume controls, one tone control, and a 3-way selector switch.

There are no problems with the neck condition. The frets have no significant dents and have plenty of life left.

There are traces of filled holes from the stop tailpiece anchors.

There are scratches, dents, tarnishing and rust on the parts, plating peeling, cracks and chips in the paint, wear and tear, and discoloration due to age and use.

This is recommended for those who want to try this modification but are worried about the cost, concerned about the change in sound, or hesitant to modify their instrument due to its value. Year: 1998
