2ハムバッカー仕様の個体となります。
通常メタリックカラー、ローズウッドの仕様が基本となりますがこちらは珍しいPDN (Premier Dealer Network)の限定モデルとしてタバコサンバーストカラー、メイプル指板を採用した渋いルックスの1本です。

ネックシェイプはLUKEシリーズの代名詞でもあるVシェイプを採用。
非常にコンパクトな握り心地を持ち、41.3mmのナット幅との組み合わせのおかげでまるで摘まむ様な握り心地を感じさせ、手の小さな方にも弾きやすい絶妙な握り心地を有しております。
またネックの塗装もオイルフィニッシュを採用しているので滑らかな質感が素早いポジション移動や長時間の演奏の中でもストレスが少なく、吸い付く様なフィット感が魅力です。
指板ラディアスは12"Rを採用し、フレットはLow Profile, Wideの程よい高さと幅を持たせたサイズを採用。
テクニカルなフレーズにも対応しやすく、数々の名プレイヤー達が愛しているモデルという事も頷ける、良質な演奏性が楽しめます。

木材構成はアルダーボディ、メイプルネック、メイプル指板からの組み合わせを採用。
こちらもこの個体の特徴でもございますが通常LUKE IIIはローステッドメイプルを採用しておりますがこちらはあえてノーマルのメイプルを使用。
フレイムが浮き出たフィギュアドが美しく、中低域は芯の太さがありながらもまとまり、伸びやかな高域が印象的なバランスの良い組み合わせです。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのMusic Man Custom Wound Humbuckingをマウント。
DiMarzio社によって製作されたこちらのモデルは出力値も程よく有し、ニュアンスへの追従性も良好です。
クリーントーンでは一つ一つの音粒の揃いも良く、ハムバッカーモデルながら煌びやかさも感じさせてくれる明るい音色がフレーズをキレイに再現してくれます。
ドライヴ時にはハリと太さが増し、豊かなミッドレンジによる厚みのある音色がロックジャンルだけに限らず、幅広いシーンでも活躍してくれます。
更にはVOLにPush/Pushによるゲインブーストスイッチも搭載しているのでよりサスティンを伸ばし、よりアグレッシブなサウンドへ移行させる事も可能です。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打こん、パーツ類のくすみ、一部塗装にひびがございますがフレットの減りも少なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもお使い頂けるコンディション。

通常のLUKE IIIモデルと異なる仕様、サウンド傾向、そしてルックスを持ったリミテッドモデルらしい特別感のある品です。

Steve Lukather is one of the greatest guitar heroes of all time, known for his guest appearances with numerous musicians—including TOTO’s guitarist—and his work as a session guitarist, as well as his own solo career.
This model features two humbuckers.
While the standard configuration typically features a metallic finish and a rosewood fingerboard, this rare PDN (Premier Dealer Network) limited edition model boasts a tobacco sunburst finish and a maple fingerboard, giving it a sophisticated look.

The neck shape is the signature V-shape of the LUKE series.
It offers an extremely compact grip, and when combined with the 41.3mm nut width, it feels almost like pinching the neck, providing an exquisite grip that makes it easy to play even for those with smaller hands.
Additionally, the neck features an oil finish, giving it a smooth texture that minimizes stress during quick position changes and extended playing sessions, with a snug, almost suction-like fit that’s truly appealing.
The fingerboard features a 12"R radius, and the frets are low-profile and wide, offering just the right height and width.
It handles technical phrases with ease, and its excellent playability makes it easy to see why this model is beloved by so many legendary players.

The wood configuration consists of an alder body, a maple neck, and a maple fingerboard.
Another distinctive feature of this particular instrument is that, while the standard LUKE III typically uses roasted maple, this one deliberately uses regular maple.
The beautiful flame figure stands out, creating a well-balanced combination with a full-bodied yet cohesive mid-low range and impressive, airy highs.

It is equipped with original Music Man Custom Wound humbucking pickups.
Manufactured by DiMarzio, this model offers just the right amount of output and excellent responsiveness to subtle nuances.
In clean tones, each note is well-defined, and despite being a humbucker model, the bright tone—which retains a sense of brilliance—beautifully reproduces every phrase.
When driven, the tone gains body and richness; the full-bodied sound, driven by a rich midrange, performs exceptionally well not only in rock but across a wide range of musical genres.
Furthermore, it features a push/push gain boost switch on the VOL knob, allowing you to extend sustain and transition to a more aggressive sound.

While there are some scratches and dents from age and use, as well as some discoloration on parts and a few cracks in the finish, the fret wear is minimal and the truss rod is functioning well, making this a ready-to-play instrument that will serve you well for years to come.

With specifications, tonal characteristics, and a look that differ from the standard LUKE III model, this is a truly special piece that embodies the exclusivity of a limited edition.
