Fender USAのラインナップの中でその良質な演奏性と扱いやすさから当時のAmerican Standardシリーズと共に人気を博していたモダンスペックのシリーズ、Highway 1。
今回入荷致しました品はテレキャスターモデル、Highway 1 Telecaster UG。
2006年製の個体となります。
ラッカートップの塗装のおかげで半艶の様なブラックカラーが渋く、武骨なカッコ良さを感じさせる佇まいの個体です。

ネックシェイプは薄く仕上げられたModern "C" Shapeを採用。
手の小さな方にも握りやすく、きめ細かく仕上げられた艶消し塗装のおかげで滑りも良く、長時間の演奏や素早いポジション移動の際もスムーズに行えます。
また指板面は9.5"Rの緩やかな指板ラディアスを有し、フレットも22フレット構成のジャンボフレットを採用等現代的なスタイルにもしっかりと対応してくれる良質な弾き心地が楽しめます。

木材構成はアルダーボディ、メイプルネック、メイプル指板からの組み合わせを採用。
中低域は芯の太さが感じられ、力強く、ハリのある高域が印象的な構成です。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのHot Vintage Tele Single-Coilをマウント。
ヴィンテージスタイルの煌びやかさを備えつつも高出力を持たせた音色はクリーントーンでは一つ一つの音粒の揃いも良く、煌びやかなサウンドがフレーズの再現性も良好です。
ドライヴ時にはよりエッジと太さが増した音色が楽しめ、ロックジャンル等との相性も良い、ファットなサウンドが魅力です。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打こん、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、一部塗装に艶が出ており、塗装の欠け、色焼けが見受けられますがフレットの余力もしっかりとあり、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもお使い頂けるコンディション。

The Highway 1 series—a modern-spec line within the Fender USA lineup—gained popularity alongside the American Standard series of that era thanks to its excellent playability and ease of use.
The model we’ve just received is the Highway 1 Telecaster UG.
It was manufactured in 2006.
Thanks to its lacquer top finish, this guitar features a subdued, semi-gloss black color that gives it a rugged, cool appearance.

The neck features a slim Modern “C” shape.
It’s easy to grip even for players with smaller hands, and the finely finished matte lacquer ensures a smooth glide, allowing for comfortable long-set performances and quick position changes.
Additionally, the fingerboard features a gentle 9.5"R radius, and with its 22-fret jumbo frets, it delivers a high-quality playing experience that’s well-suited for modern styles.

The wood configuration consists of an alder body, a maple neck, and a maple fingerboard.
This combination produces a rich, full-bodied mid-low range, paired with powerful, crisp highs that leave a lasting impression.

It is equipped with an original Hot Vintage Tele single-coil pickup.
The tone combines vintage-style brilliance with high output; in clean tones, each note is well-defined, and the sparkling sound allows for excellent phrasing.
When driven, the tone gains more edge and body, offering a fat sound that pairs well with rock genres.

In terms of condition, while there are some scratches and dents from age and use, as well as some tarnish and rust on parts, and the finish has lost some of its gloss in places, the frets still have plenty of life left, and the truss rod is functioning well. It’s in great shape and ready to play right away.

This is a guitar that lets you enjoy a clean, sleek look and a fat, rich sound.
