エレキギターブランドとして最も長い歴史を持つアメリカのブランド「リッケンバッカー」。
同ブランドの得意分野であるホローボディ x 12弦の組み合わせによるギター史に残る名品「360/12」、1966年製ヴィンテージ個体です。

The Beatlesのジョージ・ハリスンの使用であまりに有名なこのモデルには、製造時期によりデザインが異なり、こちらはボディトップのエッジがラウンド加工され、カッタウェイもやや丸みを帯びた、通称"New Style (NS)"スタイルの個体です。

'60年代中後期の特徴であるスリムなネックシェイプで12弦ギターとは思えないナローなナット幅(約40mm)です。
斬新なヘッドの空間の使い方で12個のペグを取り付ける構造は、同ブランドのセンスが光っています。

"Toaster Top"の愛称で知られるピックアップは、繊細で透明感のある音色のシングルコイル・ピックアップで、12弦の煌びやかなサウンドを優しく響かせてくれます。
2VOL / 2TONEの他にもう一つ用意された「バランサー」コントロールにより、ネックピックアップの音量の微調整が可能。
ミックスポジション時の各ピックアップの比率を可変することができ、絶妙なニュアンス作りができます。

オリジナル仕様であるブリッジピックアップのローカットコンデンサは取り外されており、ネックピックアップとの出力差が少なく、扱いやすいサウンドにアレンジされています。

アウトプットジャックを2つ備え、Y字ケーブルを使用することでネック/ブリッジピックアップの出力を分ける「Ric-O-Sound」など、実験的な機構もまた歴史を感じます。

経年による塗装やパーツの傷みに加え、ヘッド裏に木部ひびの補修痕が見受けられます。
当店入荷時ナット＆フレット交換を施工し、現在のコンディションに合わせたトラスロッド調整を行い、強度面でも問題なく良好な状態にメンテナンス済みです。

Rickenbacker is an American brand boasting the longest history among electric guitar manufacturers.
This is a vintage 1966 model of the "360/12"—a masterpiece that has left its mark on guitar history—featuring the hollow-body, 12-string configuration that is the brand's specialty.

This model is famously associated with George Harrison of The Beatles. Designs varied depending on the production period; this particular instrument features the "New Style" (NS) design, characterized by rounded edges on the body top and a slightly more rounded cutaway.

It features the slim neck profile characteristic of the mid-to-late 1960s, along with a narrow nut width (approx. 40mm) that belies the fact that it is a 12-string guitar.
The innovative headstock design—which cleverly utilizes the available space to accommodate all 12 tuning pegs—truly showcases the brand's distinctive flair.
The pickups, affectionately known as "Toaster Tops," are single-coil units that deliver a delicate, crystalline tone, allowing the 12-string's shimmering sound to resonate beautifully.
In addition to the standard dual volume and tone controls, a "balancer" control allows for fine-tuning the neck pickup's volume.
This enables you to adjust the blend ratio between the pickups when in the mixed position, allowing for the creation of exquisite tonal nuances.

The low-cut capacitor originally installed on the bridge pickup has been removed; this modification minimizes the output disparity between the neck and bridge pickups, resulting in a more manageable and versatile sound.

The instrument features dual output jacks, allowing for experimental setups—such as "Ric-O-Sound," which separates the outputs of the neck and bridge pickups via a Y-cable—that evoke a sense of its rich history.

In addition to wear on the finish and hardware consistent with the instrument's age, there is a visible repair mark where the wood had cracked on the back of the headstock.
Upon arrival at our shop, the nut and frets were replaced, and the truss rod was adjusted to suit the current setup; the instrument has been fully serviced and is in excellent playing condition with no structural issues.

A truly irreplaceable masterpiece that epitomizes the unique electric guitar. Don't miss this rare '60s vintage instrument.
