2024年に発表され、話題を大いに呼んだEpiphoneの松本孝弘氏シグネチャーモデルTak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standardが中古にて入荷致しました。

カスタムショップ製のモデルに準じた仕様を採用し、ネック裏までもゴールドカラーに施したAntique Goldが高級感を感じさせ、ラップアラウンドブリッジ、1955年製と同様に若干下方に配置されたロゴ等シグネチャーモデルらしいこだわりが随所に施された特別感のあるモデルです。

ネックシェイプは1959製のネックと比べ若干スリムな仕様を持った専用ネックを採用。
トラッドスタイルではありますがその握り心地はモダンスタイルのプレイヤーの方々にも握りやすく感じて頂け、ロックスタイルの松本氏らしいフィット感です。
またネックの仕込みも豪華にディープジョイントを採用している点も魅力です。

木材構成はメイプルトップ、マホガニーバック、マホガニーネック、ローレル指板からの構成を採用。
3.78kgという程よい重量感から太さはありますが音のまとまりも良く、伸びやかな高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップにはカスタムショップ製と同様にGibson Burstbucker Pro Alnico 5をマウント。
またコンデンサーにはLuxe Grey Tiger Paper in Oil Capacitorを使用、ヴィンテージテーパーCTSポテンショメーター等50sスタイルを再現しております。
サウンドはラップアラウンドらしい力強さを感じさせる太い音色が楽しめ、クリーントーンでは余裕のある太さからボリュームやトーンコントロールを操作する事で煌びやかな音粒の揃いの良いサウンドやしっかりと芯を残した艶やかなサウンド等様々な表情を見せてくれます。
ドライヴ時にはその太さがより感じられ、ハイゲインの中でも崩れづらい音色がロックジャンルにピッタリなサウンドを出力してくれます。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴う細かなスリキズや小さな打痕等、パーツ類のくすみ等が見受けられますがフレットの減りも少なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好なこれからも末永くお使い頂ける美品と言えるコンディション。

ファンの方々はもちろん、骨太なサウンドと良質な演奏性を持ったレスポールモデルをお探しの方にもおすすめな品です。

We've just received a pre-owned Tak Matsumoto 1955 Les Paul Standard, the much-talked-about signature model of Epiphone's Tak Matsumoto, released in 2024.

This exceptional model features specifications similar to those of the Custom Shop model, including the Antique Gold finish that even includes the back of the neck, giving it a luxurious feel. It also features signature touches such as a wraparound bridge and the logo, which is positioned slightly lower, just like the 1955 model.

The neck shape is a specially designed neck that is slightly slimmer than the neck made in 1959.
While it is a traditional style, the grip is comfortable enough for modern players to hold, and it is a fit that is typical of Matsumoto's rock style.
Another attractive feature is the luxurious deep joint used in the neck installation.

The wood construction consists of a maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, and laurel fingerboard.
Its moderate weight of 3.78 kg gives it a thick, well-balanced sound, with an impressively extended high range.

The pickups are Gibson Burstbucker Pro Alnico 5, the same as those made in the Custom Shop.
Luxe Grey Tiger Paper-in-Oil Capacitors are used, and features include a vintage-tapered CTS potentiometer and other 50s style features.
The sound has a thick, powerful tone that is typical of a wraparound amp, and in clean tones it has ample thickness, but by manipulating the volume and tone controls you can get a variety of different expressions, from a sparkling, well-aligned sound to a lustrous sound with a solid core.
When driven, this thickness is even more noticeable, and the tone remains strong even at high gain, producing a sound that is perfect for the rock genre.

The condition is excellent, with small scratches and dents due to age and use, as well as some dullness on some parts, but there is little wear to the frets and the truss rod works well, making this a beautiful piece that will last for many years to come.

This is a great choice for fans, as well as anyone looking for a Les Paul model with a robust sound and excellent playability.
