今回入荷致しました品は国産ラインにて製作されるSTシェイプをベースにフロイドローズマウント、HSH構成を持たせたコンポーネントスタイルを代表するルックスを持つモデルST-CTM-FRT。
大ぶりの4Aグレードキルトメイプルの杢目がまるで虎柄の様に走り、深いターコイズ系のBlack Aquaが濃淡を際立たせる、高級感溢れる上位モデルらしいルックスです。

ネックシェイプはスリムに仕上げられたCシェイプに近い握り心地を持ち、きめ細かく仕上げられたサテン塗装との組み合わせも素早いポジション移動や長時間の演奏の中でストレスも少ないです。
指板面においても緩やかなラディアス、フレットも大きめな物を採用しているので現代的なテクニカルな奏法にもしっかりと対応してくれます。

木材構成はキルトメイプルトップ、スワンプアッシュバックのボディ、メイプルネック、バーズアイメイプル指板を採用。
芯の太さとまとまりの良さが感じられる力強い中低域とハリのある高域が印象的です。

ピックアップはDiMarzio DP156 Humbucker from Hellをフロントとリアに換装し、センターはSeymour Duncan SSL-1 Vintage Staggeredへ交換。
より高域が強調され、クリアな音色を意識した換装によってクリーントーンでは音粒の揃いも良く、煌びやかな音色がフレーズをキレイに再現してくれます。
ドライヴ時にはより厚みが増し、キレの良さも感じられるサウンドが深い歪みの中でもしっかりと輪郭を保ってくれます。
またコイルタップ機能、ローカット/ハイカットの機能も搭載しているのでサウンドバリエーションの豊富さも魅力です。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、一部塗装のひびや欠け、エスカッションのひび等が見受けられますがフレットは余力をしっかりと残し、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもお使い頂けるコンディション。

Schecter is widely regarded as a leading brand in the component guitar market and continues to be supported by players across a wide range of genres.
The model we’ve just received is the ST-CTM-FRT, a representative example of the component style featuring a Floyd Rose tremolo system and an HSH pickup configuration, based on the ST shape from their domestic production line.
The large-scale 4A-grade quilted maple grain runs like a tiger’s stripes, and the deep turquoise-toned “Black Aqua” finish accentuates the contrast, giving it a luxurious look befitting a high-end model.

The neck shape offers a grip similar to a slim C-shape, and when combined with the finely finished satin coating, it allows for quick position changes and minimizes stress during long playing sessions.
The fingerboard features a gentle radius and larger frets, making it well-suited for modern technical playing styles.

The wood configuration features a quilted maple top, a swamp ash body, a maple neck, and a bird’s-eye maple fingerboard.
It impresses with powerful mid-low frequencies that convey a sense of depth and cohesion, paired with crisp, resonant highs.

The pickups have been upgraded with DiMarzio DP156 “Humbucker from Hell” models in the front and rear positions, while the center position features a Seymour Duncan SSL-1 Vintage Staggered.
This upgrade, designed to emphasize the high frequencies and achieve a clear tone, results in well-defined notes in clean tones, with a sparkling sound that beautifully reproduces every phrase.
When driven, the sound gains more depth and clarity, maintaining a distinct contour even in heavy distortion.
Additionally, the inclusion of coil tap and low-cut/high-cut functions adds to the appeal of its rich sound variations.

In terms of condition, there are some scratches and dents from age and use, as well as some discoloration and rust on parts, some cracks and chips in the finish, and a crack in the escutcheon. However, the frets still have plenty of life left, and the truss rod adjustment is effective, making this a ready-to-play instrument that you can continue to enjoy.

This is a high-spec instrument that offers both a stunning appearance and a wide range of sounds.
