American Standardシリーズの流れを受け継ぎ、現在のFenderのUSAモデルを代表するシリーズAmerican Professionalシリーズ。
今回入荷致しました品はその最初の頃の仕様を持つテレキャスターモデル、American Professional Telecaster。
王道のButterscotch Blondeカラーにブラックガード、メイプル指板の仕様を採用した人気のルックスを持つ品です。

ネックシェイプは幅広いプレイヤーのスタイルにフィットしやすいModern Deep "C" Shapeを採用。
程よい厚みが握りやすく、きめ細かいサテン仕上げの塗装との組み合わせも滑らかな握り心地が楽しめます。
指板面は9.5"Rの緩やかなラディアスを持ち、フレットもナロートールの22フレット仕様を持っているので現代的なプレイスタイルにもフィットしやすいです。

木材構成はアッシュボディ、メイプルネック、メイプル指板からのトラッドな組み合わせを使用。
現行の後継モデルではボディ材がパイン材になっておりますがそちらと比べより太さが感じられ、煌びやかなサウンドが楽しめる印象を受けます。

ピックアップには専用に開発されたV-Mod Single-Coil Telecasterをマウント。
4〜6弦側はアルニコ5、1〜3弦側はアルニコ2マグネットを使用した独自規格の組み合わせを持ち、そのおかげでクリーントーンでは太さが感じられながらもキレイにまとまりやすく、フレーズの再現性も良好な煌びやかな音色が楽しめます。
ドライヴ時にはよりキレが増し、太さと鋭さが増した迫力のあるサウンドが幅広いシーンでも活躍してくれます。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビが見受けられますがフレットの余力もしっかりとあり、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもお使い頂ける良好なコンディション。

初めてのUSA製Fenderモデルとしてもおすすめな扱いやすい品です。

Carrying on the legacy of the American Standard series, the American Professional series is now the flagship line of Fender’s USA models.
The item we’ve just received is the American Professional Telecaster, a model featuring the specifications from the series’ early days.
It boasts a popular look, featuring the classic Butterscotch Blonde finish, a black pickguard, and a maple fingerboard.

The neck shape is a Modern Deep “C” Shape, designed to suit a wide range of playing styles.
Its moderate thickness makes it easy to grip, and combined with the fine-grained satin finish, it offers a smooth, comfortable feel.
The fingerboard features a gentle 9.5" radius, and with 22 narrow-tall frets, it is well-suited for modern playing styles.

The wood configuration uses a traditional combination of an ash body, maple neck, and maple fingerboard.
While the current successor model uses a pine body, this model feels thicker in comparison and gives the impression of producing a more brilliant sound.

It is equipped with a specially developed V-Mod Single-Coil Telecaster pickup.
This pickup features a unique configuration with Alnico 5 magnets on strings 4–6 and Alnico 2 magnets on strings 1–3. As a result, the clean tone is rich yet well-defined, offering a brilliant tone with excellent phrase reproduction.
When driven, the sound gains even more clarity, delivering a powerful tone with increased body and sharpness that performs well across a wide range of musical styles.

The guitar shows signs of age and use, including scratches, dents, and some tarnish and rust on parts. However, the frets have plenty of life left, and the truss rod is functioning well, making this a ready-to-play instrument in good condition that will serve you well for years to come.

This is an easy-to-play model that we highly recommend, even as a first USA-made Fender.
