HR/HMの歴史を語る上で欠かせないブランドの一つ、Jackson。
今回入荷致しました品はJacksonを代表するモデルの一つSoloistのPro Plusシリーズにて展開されるモデルPro Plus Series Soloist SLA3。
アーチド加工を施したグラマラスなボディのラインをブラックカラーが美しく表現する高級感のあるルックスを持った品です。

シリーズ名の通りプロユースも頂けるプレイアビリティ、サウンド構成を持った当モデルのネックシェイプはJacksonらしい薄く仕上げられたシェイプを採用。
またネック裏の塗装もオイルフィニッシュを採用しているので素早いポジションチェンジや長時間の演奏の中でもストレスの少ない弾き心地が楽しめます。
指板面は12"Rから徐々に16"Rへと広がって行くコンパウンドラディアス指板を採用しており、スルーネック、24フレット構成、ジャンボサイズのステンレスフレットを使用等豪華なスペックも魅力な品です。

木材構成はオクメボディ、メイプルとウォルナットを合わせた3ピースネック、エボニー指板からの構成を採用。
マホガニー材に近い特性を持つオクメを使用する事で中低域は太さを感じさせ、まとまりの良さとハリが感じられる高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップはSeymour Duncan SSL-6 Flat StratとTB-6 Distortionを採用したSSH構成の組み合わせ。
クリーントーンでは音の粒揃いも良く、反応も良いのでシングルコイルとハムバッカースタイルそれぞれを使い分ける事で様々なサウンドメイク、シーンへの対応力も魅力です。
ドライヴ時にはより厚みを増したパワフルなサウンドが楽しめ、速弾きへの追従性もしっかりとあるので複雑なフレーズも再現しやすいです。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや細かな打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビが見受けられますが大きく目立つ物は無く、フレットの減りも少なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもしっかりとお使い頂けるコンディション。

Jackson is one of the brands that cannot be overlooked when discussing the history of HR/HM.
The item we have received this time is the Pro Plus Series Soloist SLA3, one of the models in the Pro Plus series, which represents Jackson.
This item has a luxurious look, with the black color beautifully expressing the glamorous lines of the arched body.

True to its series name, this model offers professional-grade playability and sound configuration. The neck shape adopts Jackson's signature thin profile.
Additionally, the neck back is finished with an oil finish, providing a smooth playing experience even during rapid position changes or extended playing sessions.
The fingerboard features a compound radius design, gradually expanding from 12“R to 16”R, along with a through-neck construction, 24 frets, and jumbo-sized stainless steel frets, making it a luxurious and appealing instrument.

The wood construction consists of an okoume body, a three-piece neck combining maple and walnut, and an ebony fingerboard.
By using okoume, which has characteristics similar to mahogany, the mid-low frequencies feel rich, while the high frequencies offer a balanced and crisp sound, creating an impressive combination.

The pickup configuration features a combination of Seymour Duncan SSL-6 Flat Strat and TB-6 Distortion pickups in an SSH setup.
In clean tones, the sound is well-defined and responsive, allowing for versatile sound shaping and adaptability to various musical scenarios by switching between single-coil and humbucker styles.
When driven, the sound becomes thicker and more powerful, with excellent responsiveness to fast playing, making it easy to reproduce complex phrases.

The condition shows minor scratches and dents from age and use, as well as slight discoloration and rust on parts, but there are no major issues. The frets have minimal wear, and the truss rod functions well, making it a reliable instrument that can be used for years to come.

Despite its reasonable price range, this high-spec instrument offers luxurious specifications and powerful sound.
