数あるGibson Les Paulのラインナップの中でもStandardと共に高い人気を持ち、伝統的なサウンドやルックス、仕様、フィーリングを有するTraditionalシリーズ。
今回入荷致しました品は記念すべきGibson社創設120周年記念の年2014年に製作されたアニバーサリーモデル、120th Anniversary Les Paul Traditional 2014。
王道のHeritage Cherry Sunburstの中で揺れ動くメイプルの杢目も自然な揺れ方をするフレイムも上品なカッコ良さを感じさせ、指板にも記念モデルらしいアニバーサリーデザインを施した特別感のある品です。

ネックシェイプは程よい厚みを持たせた50s Profileを採用。
トラッドスタイルの方の方々には馴染みのある握り心地を感じさせながらも弾きづらさは感じさせない良質な握り心地を有しております。

木材構成はメイプルトップ、マホガニーバック、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板からの伝統的な組み合わせを採用。
ボディ構造も伝統的なソリッド構造を有し、そのおかげで中低域は芯の太さを感じさせ、伸びやかな高域が印象的な豊かなトーンキャラクターが魅力です。

ピックアップには1959年製のLes PaulにマウントされていたPAFを再現した1959 Tribute Humbuckerをマウント。
落ち着きを感じさせる出力値が扱いやすく、クリーントーンでは音のまとまりや反応も良く、ピッキングのニュアンスやフレーズの再現性も良好な音色が楽しめます。
ドライヴ時には歯切れの良さとより厚みを増したサウンドが心地よく、ロックジャンルを始め幅広く活躍してくれます。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、一部塗装の欠けや割れ、塗装焼け等が見受けられますがフレットの余力もしっかりとあり、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもお使い頂けるコンディション。

アニバーサリーとしての特別感と実戦的な仕様が楽しめる1本です。

Among the many Gibson Les Paul models, the Traditional series is highly popular alongside the Standard, offering traditional sound, appearance, specifications, and feel.
The item we have received this time is the 120th Anniversary Les Paul Traditional 2014, an anniversary model produced in 2014 to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Gibson's founding.
The Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish showcases the natural movement of the maple grain and flame patterns, exuding a sophisticated and stylish appeal. The fingerboard also features a special anniversary design, adding a sense of uniqueness to this commemorative model.

The neck shape adopts the 50s Profile with a moderate thickness.
It offers a familiar grip feel for those accustomed to traditional styles while maintaining a comfortable playability.

The wood construction features a traditional combination of maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The body structure also adopts a traditional solid construction, resulting in a rich tone character with a robust mid-low range and a smooth, extended high-end.

The pickup is a 1959 Tribute Humbucker, which replicates the PAF mounted on a 1959 Les Paul.
The output level is easy to handle, offering a sense of stability. In clean tones, the sound is well-balanced with good response, and the picking nuances and phrase reproduction are excellent.
In drive mode, the crispness and increased thickness of the sound are pleasant, making it versatile for a wide range of genres, including rock.

The condition shows signs of age and use, including scratches, dents, discoloration and rust on parts, some chipping and cracking of the finish, and sun damage, but the frets have plenty of life left, and the truss rod functions well, making it a reliable instrument that can be used immediately.

This is a special anniversary model that combines a sense of occasion with practical specifications.
