1992年 第一世代Made In Japan Jackson 初期デカロゴ期!!

1980年代、CharvelのスタッフであったGrover JacksonによってRandy Rhoadsの為に造られたConcordeは、それまでのCharvel社のモデルからかけ離れたルックスの為、Grover Jacksonの名から取って付けたJacksonブランドからスタートしました。
1970年代後半、Charvel社はGrover Jackson氏にブランド譲渡され、Jackson/Charvelブランドとして同じ会社となります。80年代中期から、変形シェイプ以外のJacksonの一部モデルの廉価版として日本製Charvelが発売されました。80年代後半Grover JacksonがIMCにJackson/Charvelブランドを売却し、生産体制が見直され、Charvelブランドでそのクオリティの高さを証明され日本製のJacksonブランドが91年にスタートします。

日本でのJacksonブランドを販売するにあたって版権の問題があり、1995年以降、正規販売品はGrover Jacksonロゴとなり、それまでの日本製Jacksonは大きくJacksonロゴが描かれ、その後ろに小さくGrover Jacksonと入れられていました。この短期間の仕様が通称デカロゴ期と呼ばれ、人気の時期となっています。
当時の工場は現在では廃業となっており、現行のMJとは別で、当時のJackson USAに近い仕様となっています!!

ボディには初期Jacksonの特長であるYellow Poplarを仕様、ややミドルが出たサウンドで、Mapleネック材との相性でエッジが効きながらミッドのある太いサウンドとなっています。

ネックには1pc.Mapleを使用し、指板はRosewoodで太めのサウンド、指板、ヘッドはバインディングが巻かれており、高級感を出しています。ジャクソンの特長であるシャークフィンインレイ、フレットはジャンボタイプとなっておりローポジションから、ハイポジションにかけてRが緩くなるコンパウンドラディアスを採用しておりコード、ソロワークの弾きやすさを両立しております。

ピックアップには、フロント、センターがオリジナルのJ-100、リアが交換されており、Seymour DuncanのJBとなっております。

ブリッジはドイツ製のSchaller製のダブルロッキングトレモロS-FRT-IIのOEMとなっており信頼性の高いものとなっています。

ネックの状態に問題はございません。フレットは目立った凹みはなく、充分残っています。

ボディ全体に打痕、擦り傷、がございます。ヘッド先端に塗装欠けがございます。

金属パーツに錆、くすみがございます。

トレモロスプリングカバーが欠品しています。

1992 First Generation Made In Japan Jackson, Early Big Logo Era!!

The Concorde, built for Randy Rhoads by Charvel staff member Grover Jackson in the 1980s, had a look that was so different from previous Charvel models that it was launched under the Jackson brand, named after Grover Jackson.

In the late 1970s, Charvel was sold to Grover Jackson, and the Jackson/Charvel brands became the same company. From the mid-1980s, Japanese-made Charvel guitars were released as affordable versions of select Jackson models other than the irregular shapes. In the late 1980s, Grover Jackson sold the Jackson/Charvel brand to IMC, and production was restructured. With the Charvel brand's proven quality, the Japanese-made Jackson brand was launched in 1991.

Due to copyright issues surrounding the sale of the Jackson brand in Japan, since 1995, all officially sold products have carried the Grover Jackson logo. Previously, Japanese-made Jackson guitars featured a large Jackson logo with "Grover Jackson" written in small letters behind it. This short-lived design is commonly known as the "Big Logo" period, and it remains a popular choice.

The factory that produced it is now out of business, and while this guitar is different from the current MJ guitars, it is closer to the Jackson USA models of the time!

The body is crafted from Yellow Poplar, a hallmark of early Jackson guitars, producing a slightly mid-range sound. The maple neck wood creates a rich, edgy sound with a rich midrange.

The neck is made of a single piece of maple, and the rosewood fingerboard produces a rich, full-bodied sound. The fingerboard and headstock are bound for a premium feel. The guitar features Jackson-inspired shark fin inlays, jumbo frets, and a compound radius that gradually widens from low to high positions, making it easy to play chords and solos.

The neck and center pickups are the original J-100, while the bridge has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan JB.

The bridge is a reliable OEM double locking tremolo S-FRT-II from German manufacturer Schaller.

The neck is in good condition. There are no noticeable dents on the frets and they are in good condition.

There are dents and scratches all over the body. There is paint chipping on the tip of the headstock.

There is rust and dullness on the metal parts.

The tremolo spring cover is missing.
