Fender USAラインナップの中でも長らくリリースされ続け、ヴィンテージスペックのラインナップの代表的なシリーズでもあるAmerican Vintageシリーズ。
今回入荷致しました品はレアスペックのアッシュボディ、ブロンドカラー、ゴールドハードウェアを使用したAmerican Vintage '62 Stratocaster。
当時数年間のみ制作されたレアスペックの個体です。
アッシュ材らしい杢目がブロンドカラーから透け、経年や使用によって貫録も感じさせるルックスへと至った良い佇まいの個体です。

ネックシェイプはCシェイプを採用し、この頃のAmerican Vintageの特徴でもあるスリムな握り心地は現代的なプレイヤーの方々にも握りやすいと感じて頂けるかと思われます。
指板面は7.25"Rのヴィンテージスタイルを採用し、フレットはミディアムジャンボサイズ程のJESCAR #55090へリフレットが施されているので演奏性も良好です。

木材構成はアッシュボディ、メイプルネック、ローズウッド指板からの組み合わせを採用。
アッシュ材らしい太さを感じさせる中低域とハリのある高域が印象的な力強さも感じさせる組み合わせです。

ピックアップはオリジナルのAmerican Vintage Strat Single-Coilをマウント。
ヴィンテージを意識した出力値は反応も良く、クリーントーンでは一つ一つの音のまとまりの良い骨太なサウンドが楽しめ、トーンを絞った際のメロウな音色の中でも輪郭が崩れづらいです。
ドライヴ時にはより厚みと鋭さが増し、その太さを活かしたサウンドがブルースやロックジャンルとの相性も良好です。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、メッキ剥がれ、焼け、一部塗装にひびや欠け、剥がれ、焼けの他ヘッド部に焦げ跡がございますがフレットはリフレットが施され、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもしっかりとお使い頂ける良好なコンディション。
その他スイッチも5-wayへ交換されており、ペグもGOTOH製のマグナムロックへ換装されいる等実戦的な交換も施されております。

ルックスの良さと良質な演奏性を兼ね備えた、渋さも魅力な品です。

The American Vintage series has long been a staple in the Fender USA lineup, representing the quintessential vintage-spec range.
This newly arrived piece is a rare-spec American Vintage '62 Stratocaster featuring an ash body, blonde finish, and gold hardware.
It's a rare specimen produced for only a few years during that era.
The distinctive ash wood grain shows through the blonde finish, creating a well-aged appearance that exudes character and presence.

The neck shape features a C profile. The slim, comfortable grip characteristic of American Vintage guitars from this era should feel comfortable even for modern players.
The fingerboard features a vintage-style 7.25" radius, and the frets have been refretted with JESCAR #55090 medium jumbo-sized frets, ensuring excellent playability.

The wood combination consists of an ash body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
This pairing delivers a powerful sound, characterized by the characteristic warmth and depth of ash in the mid-low range and a crisp, resonant high end.

It's equipped with original American Vintage Strat Single-Coil pickups.
Their vintage-inspired output provides responsive performance. Clean tones deliver a solid, well-defined sound with excellent clarity, and even when rolling off the tone, the mellow tones retain their contour without losing definition.
When driven, the sound gains increased thickness and sharpness, making it well-suited for blues and rock genres, where its rich tone shines.

Condition: While showing signs of age and use—including scratches, dents, tarnished/rusty parts, plating wear, burn marks, and some paint cracks/chips/peeling—the headstock has burn marks. However, the frets have been refretted, the truss rod functions well, and it remains in excellent playable condition for immediate use.
Practical upgrades include a 5-way switch replacement and GOTOH Magnum Lock tuners.

This piece combines great looks with solid playability, offering a charming, understated appeal.
