ジーン・ベイカー氏制作の当店カスタムオーダー品！

Fender、Gibsonそれぞれのカスタムショップで製作経験を持ち、マスタービルダーまで昇り詰めた敏腕ビルダーGene Baker（ジーン・ベイカー）氏。
fano guitarsをはじめとしたハイエンドギターブランドが集うプレミアム・ビルダーズ・ギルド（PBG）在籍時は製作と監修を勤め、
現在は独立し自身のブランドb3 guitars(Build by Baker)を手がけております。
ギタリストとして活動する彼独自のモダンなエッセンスを取り込んだ楽器は個性的で世界中のギターフリークから高い評価を得ております。

この度入荷しましたのはb3の中でも最もモダンスペックを詰め込んだヘッドレスモデル「Ringmaster」シリーズより最高級機種「Pallas」です。
どのような状態でもバランスが良い独自の特徴的なコンパクトボディデザインを持ち、常に安定した状態を保つセットネック構造を採用し高い演奏性を実現しています。
また、従来のヘッドレスには無い音圧がありながらワイドレンジな倍音を持ったレスポンスの良いキャラクターが特徴的です。

5Aグレード・キルトメイプルトップ/マホガニーバックのボディに、
エボニー指板を組み合わせたウエンジ/メイプル/パープルハートで構成された5プライネックのウッドマテリアル。
12フレット上には「the Primal Sound」の意味を持つマントラで「zen」のカスタムインレイが施され、
トランス・ブラックカラーや存在感のある杢目えお生かした木組のような構造など最高級機種の名に恥じぬ一本に仕上がっております。

ネックは25.5インチのロングスケールを採用しており、スリムな左右非対称のネックグリップとなっております。
20インチの非常にフラットな指板ラディアス、6105サイズのステンレス製フレット、
滑らかなヒール形状の効果もあり非常に高い演奏性を実現しております。

ピックアップはベーカー氏お薦めの「EMG Hot 70」をセットでマウントしております。
フロントピックアップにはアルニコ5、リアにはセラミックマグネットを使用し、70年代の後半のハードロックを意識した骨太なサウンドをアウトプットします。
コントロールは2ボリューム、マスタートーン、3ウェイセレクターとシンプルですが、
EMGらしくS/N比に優れたサウンドで幅広い音作りにマッチします。

コンディションとしては一部メッキパーツにくすみがございますが、それ以外には目立つ使用感のない新品同様美品中古品です。
フレットに減りはなく、ネックは現状ストレートで、トラスロッドは両方向に正常に動作いたします。
まだまだ末長くご愛用いただける即戦力となるグッドコンディションです！

Custom-ordered by Gene Baker!

Gene Baker is a talented builder who has worked in the custom stores of both Fender and Gibson, and has worked his way up to master builder.
He was a member of the Premium Builders Guild (PBG), a group of high-end guitar brands including fano guitars, where he supervised and produced guitars.
He is now independent, working on his own brand, b3 guitars (Build by Baker).
He is a guitarist, and his instruments, which incorporate his own modern essence, are unique and highly appreciated by guitar freaks around the world.

This time we have just received the top-of-the-line “Pallas” from the “Ringmaster” series, the headless model with the most modern specs among the b3 models.
The Pallas has a unique compact body design that is well-balanced in any condition, and its set-neck construction keeps it stable at all times for high playability.
It also features a responsive character with a wide range of overtones and sound pressure not found in conventional headless models.

The wood material of the 5-ply neck consists of wenge/maple/purpleheart with a 5A grade quilted maple top/mahogany back body and
ebony fingerboard.
The custom “zen” inlay on the 12th fret is a mantra meaning “the Primal Sound.”
The trans-black color and the wood construction that makes the most of the presence of the wood grain, etc., make this a top-of-the-line model that lives up to its name.

The neck is 25.5" long scale with a slim asymmetrical neck grip.
The 20" flat fretboard radius, 6105 size stainless steel frets, and
smooth heel shape make this a highly playable instrument.

The pickups are “EMG Hot 70” recommended by Mr. Baker.
The front pickups are Alnico 5, and the rear pickups are ceramic magnets.
Controls are simple with 2 volume, master tone, and 3-way selector, but
it matches a wide range of sound creation with its excellent S/N ratio, just like EMG.

The condition is as good as new with no noticeable signs of use other than some of the plated parts being tarnished.
The frets are not worn, the neck is currently straight, and the truss rod works properly in both directions.
It is in good condition and can be used for many years to come!

This model has become very expensive in recent years due to the rising price of new models.
Gene handled the entire production process during his time as a private maker, so please take this opportunity to consider this gem.
