インストゥルメンタルロックのカリスマギタリストJoe Satriani !!

あのSteve Vai、Kirk Hammett (Metallica)、Alex Skolnick(Testament)の師匠としても有名です。

その卓越したプレイはMick JaggerやDeep Purpleのサポートギタリストとしても有名ですが、自身は多くのインストゥルメンタルロックアルバムを作成、ツアーを行い、弟子であるSteve Vaiと共に著名ギタリストと競演するG3、Sammy Hagar、Michael Anthony、Chad Smithと共にスーパーバンドChickenfootでの活躍など多岐にわたりそのプレイを聞かせています。

その彼が1980年代から使用しているブランドが日本を代表するブランドIbanezのギターです。

当初シグネイチャーモデルはなく、1987年にラインナップされたRシリーズを使用、その後このモデルをベースにシグネイチャーモデルJSが1988年に誕生いたしました。
Rシリーズは廃盤となりましたが、そのコンセプトはJSシリーズへと受け継がれ、このスタイルは現在まで継承されています。

JSシリーズは2009年までは22フレットの仕様でしたが、2010年より、24フレットのモデルが追加されよりプレイの幅が広がっています。
2017年より強制的にサスティーンを生み出すSUSTAINIACシステムを搭載したモデルが登場しました。

このようにマイナーチェンジをしながら常に進化し続けるJSシリーズですが、2009年までのシンプルながら、多機能性とのバランスが丁度良いと感じるユーザーも多く、今現在でもこちらの仕様も根強い人気がございます!!

こちらのモデルはIbanezらしくなくやや厚みのあるCネックシェイプ、やや丸みのある250Rラディアスを採用しており、RGなどの極薄ネックが苦手な人にもお勧めできます。

ボディはフラットな音響特性で軽量なBasswoodを使用、一部分をバーナーで炙って、その後シースルーブルーの塗装を施した凝った仕様となっています。

ネックには強度に優れた柾目で木取りをしたMaple 1pc.指板にはRosewoodを使用しやや甘めのサウンドを狙っています。

ピックアップは、DiMarzio製でフロントにPAF Pro、リアにPAF Proのミッドレンジをやや強くしたFredを搭載、エフェクターとの相性も良く多彩なプレイが可能です。

ブリッジにはIbanezの最上級モデルj.customdでも使用されている、オリジナルのトレモロ･ブリッジLo-Pro EDGEを搭載、表現豊かなアーミングをサポートします。

コントロールは1ヴォリューム（w/High Pass Filer SW.)1トーン (w/ coil-split push/pull)、3wayピックアップセレクター、となっており多彩なサウンドを効率よくコントロールできます。

ネックの状態に問題はございません。フレットは僅かな凹みはございますが、演奏に支障はございません。
ボディ、ネックに打痕、擦り傷、金属パーツにメッキ剥げ、錆がございます。

Joe Satriani is a charismatic instrumental rock guitarist!

He is also known as the teacher of Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett (Metallica), and Alex Skolnick (Testament).

His outstanding playing is also known as a supporting guitarist for Mick Jagger and Deep Purple, but he has also produced many instrumental rock albums, toured, and performed with famous guitarists together with his student Steve Vai in G3, and in the super band Chickenfoot with Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, and Chad Smith.

The brand he has used since the 1980s is Ibanez guitars, a leading Japanese brand.

Initially there was no signature model, and he used the R series, which was added to the lineup in 1987. The JS signature model was then born in 1988, based on this model.

The R series is now discontinued, but its concept was passed down to the JS series, and this style has been carried on to this day.

Until 2009, the JS series had 22 frets, but in 2010, a 24-fret model was added, further expanding the range of playability.
In 2017, a model equipped with the SUSTAINIAC system, which creates forced sustain, was released.

The JS series is constantly evolving through minor changes like this, but many users feel that the simple design from 2009 was just the right balance with versatility, and this specification remains very popular even today!!

This model has an unusually thick C-neck shape and a slightly rounded 250R radius, making it recommended for those who don't like extremely thin necks like RG.

The body is made of lightweight Basswood with flat acoustic characteristics, and some parts are seared with a burner and then painted with a see-through blue finish for an elaborate finish.

The neck is made of 1pc Maple wood with straight grain for excellent strength. The fingerboard is made of Rosewood for a slightly sweeter sound.

The pickups are DiMarzio PAF Pro in the neck and Fred with a slightly stronger midrange than PAF Pro in the rear, which works well with effects and allows for a wide range of playing.

The bridge is the original Lo-Pro EDGE tremolo bridge, which is also used in Ibanez's top-of-the-line model j.customd, and supports expressive arm playing.

The controls are 1 volume (with High Pass Filer SW.), 1 tone (with coil-split push/pull), and a 3-way pickup selector, allowing you to efficiently control a wide variety of sounds.

There is no problem with the condition of the neck. There are slight dents in the frets, but this does not interfere with playing.

There are dents and scratches on the body and neck, peeling plating on metal parts, and rust.

Recommended for those looking for a versatile guitar other than the AZ!!
