今やIbanezを代表するモデルの一つとも成ったAZシリーズにてラインナップ初のシグネチャーモデルとしてTom Quayle氏と共に発表されたMartin Miller氏のシグネチャーモデル、MM1が入荷致しました。
トップに使用された美しいフレイムメイプルの杢目が浮かぶTransparent Aqua Blueがまるで色鮮やかな海を見下ろしているかの様なルックスです。

仕様は基本的な部分に関してはAZシリーズに準じており、ネックシェイプはAZシリーズの特徴でもある程よく厚みを持たせたAZ Oval Cシェイプを採用。
厚過ぎず、細過ぎずな丁度良い握り心地はプレイヤーのスタイルを問わず多くの方々にも握りやすいと感じて頂けるフィット感を持ち合わせております。
指板面に関しては305mmRの緩やかなラディアスを有し、ジャンボサイズのステンレスフレットを採用等現代的なテクニカルなスタイルにも対応してくれる、良質な演奏性を有しております。

木材構成はこちらはシグネチャーモデルらしいこだわりを見せ、フレイムメイプルトップ、マホガニーバック、S-TECHローステッド加工が施されたネック、同加工が施された指板を採用。
通常のAZモデルと比べより豊かさと太さが感じられる中低域が艶やかさも感じさせ、伸びやかな高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップには専用のSeymour Duncan Hyperionをマウント。
豊かなミッドレンジとハリのある音色が印象的なキャラクターとの組み合わせはクリーントーンでは一つ一つの音の粒揃いも良く、フレーズやニュアンスの再現性も良好な音色が楽しめます。
ドライヴ時にはその太さを活かし、厚みのあるパワフルなサウンドがロックジャンルを中心に幅広くお使い頂けます。
またAZシリーズの特徴でもあるAlter Switchを使用する事で計10種類の音色を選択出来る点も魅力の一つです。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや小さな打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビが見受けられる他ネック裏ボリュート付近にクラックの補修痕が見受けられ、ネックを外した際にネックジョイントビス穴にクラック補修痕が見受けられます。
フレットの減りも少なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好ですので現状演奏性に支障は無く、即戦力としてお使い頂けるコンディション。

高い演奏性と多彩なサウンドメイク、そして厚みのあるサウンドが魅力のロングセラーを記録するシグネチャーモデルです。

Martin Miller's signature model, MM1, which was announced together with Tom Quayle as the first signature model in the AZ series, which has now become one of Ibanez's representative models, is now in stock.
The Transparent Aqua Blue with beautiful flame maple grains used for the top looks as if you are looking down on a brightly colored ocean.

The basic specifications are the same as the AZ series, and the neck shape uses the moderately thick AZ Oval C shape, which is a characteristic of the AZ series.
The grip is just right, not too thick and not too thin, and it fits with many people will find easy to grip, regardless of player's style.
The fingerboard surface has 305mmR and jumbo-sized stainless steel frets provide high-quality playability that is compatible with modern technical styles.

The wood composition here is typical of a signature model, with a flame maple top, mahogany back, S-TECH roasted neck, and a fingerboard with the same process.
Compared to the regular AZ model, the mid-low range feels richer and thicker, giving it a glossy feel, and the relaxed high range is an impressive combination.

The pickup is equipped with special Seymour Duncan Hyperions.
The combination of a rich midrange and an impressive character with a crisp tone allows you to enjoy clean tones with good granularity of each sound and good reproducibility of phrases and nuances.
When driving, you can take advantage of its thickness to create a thick and powerful sound that can be used in a wide range of genres, especially rock.
Another attractive feature of the AZ series is that you can select from a total of 10 different tones by using the Alter Switch.

The condition is such that there are scratches and small dents due to age and use, dullness and rust on parts, and there are crack repair marks near the volute on the back of the neck, and crack repair marks can be seen in the neck joint screw hole when the neck is removed.
There is little wear on the frets and the truss rod works well, so there is no problem with playability at present, and it is in good condition for immediate use.

This is a long-selling signature model that is known for its high playability, versatile sound makeup, and deep sound.
