現在では廃番と成った少し暗めな印象を受ける高級感のあるEgyptian Goldのカラーにブラックピックガードが良く映える、エキゾチックな美しさが光るルックスが特徴です。

ネックシェイプにはPattern Regularを採用。
程よい薄さを有したネックはプレイヤーのスタイルを問わず幅広い方々にフィットしやすい、良質な握り心地を有しております。
また小ぶりなボディと施されたカットのおかげでハイフレットへのアクセスも良く、緩やかな指板ラディアス、24フレット構成の仕様も現代的なテクニカルなスタイルへ対応しやすいです。

木材構成はマホガニーボディ、マホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板からの構成を採用。

Paul Reed Smith continues to be popular with a wide range of players, regardless of their style or genre, due to its versatility.

This is the S2 Standard 24, one of the S2 series, which is made in the USA, is reasonably priced, and has many features that will please practical players.

The slightly darker Egyptian Gold color (now discontinued) is luxurious and the black pickguard stands out against it, giving it an exotic beauty.

The neck shape is Pattern Regular.
The neck is just the right thickness, providing a good grip that fits a wide range of players, regardless of their style.
The small body and cuts provide good access to the higher frets, and the gentle fingerboard radius and 24 fret configuration make it easy to accommodate modern technical styles.

The wood construction consists of a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
It has a well-balanced combination of rich, glossy low-mids and smooth highs.

The pickups are PRS Designed "HFS Treble" and "Vintage Bass".
It has an impressive character with a well-balanced and bright tone, and when played with clean tones, it has a thick core and a responsive, easy-to-use tone.
When driven, the above tendencies are felt even in high-gain sounds, the sound contours do not easily collapse, and the sound is appealing in that it can handle even technical scenes.
It also has a coil tap function, which is a nice feature as it allows you to transition to a more brilliant sound.

There are signs of wear such as scratches appropriate for the age, damage to the paint and parts, and cloudy paint on the sides of the fingerboard due to aging.
About 80% of the frets remain, and the current condition of the neck and truss rod is good.

The PRS S2 offers authentic sound and quality at a great price, and its unique color is also attractive. Don't miss out!
