アンプを始めギターブランドとしてもハードロック/ヘヴィメタルシーンのプレイヤー達から長年愛され続けているPeavey。
今回入荷致しました品は2008年に製作されたHPシリーズの一つ、HP Special CT Custom。
Peavey社の創設者でもあるHartley Peavey氏のシグネチャーモデルと成ります。
厚みのあるキルトメイプルトップにネックのバーズアイメイプル、ヘッド突板のフレイムメイプル等希少な材をふんだんに使用され、Naturalカラーに仕上げる事で杢目の美しさを全面に押し出した高級感のある品です。

ネックシェイプは程よい厚みを持たせたDシェイプに近い握り心地を感じさせ、プレイヤーのスタイルを問わず幅広い方々にも握りやすいと感じて頂ける、良質なフィット感を有しております。
フレットサイズはミディアム程のサイズを使用しており、かつてのWolfgangモデルをベースにカットを施したかの様なデザインのおかげで抱えた際のバランスも良く、ハイポジションへのアクセスも良好です。

木材構成はキルトメイプルトップ、マホガニーバック、メイプルネック、メイプルの貼り指板を採用。
中低域は芯の太さが感じられ、ハリのある高域が印象的な力強いサウンドが楽しめます。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのハムバッカーモデルPeavey Original Humbuckingをマウント。
高い出力値と素直なキャラクターは楽器の持つ特性も引き出しやすく、クリーントーンでは暖かみを感じさせ、音粒の揃いも良い音色がフレーズやニュアンスをキレイに再現してくれます。
ドライヴ時にはハイゲインサウンドとの相性も良く、より厚みを増したパワフルなサウンドがロックジャンルを始め幅広いシーンでも活躍してくれます。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、ネックジョイント部付近に塗装クラックがございますがフレットの余力もしっかりとあり、トラスロッドの効きも良好なこれからも末永くお使い頂ける即戦力のコンディション。

ルックスの良さと高い演奏性、ファットなサウンドが楽しめるハイクオリティな1本です。

Peavey has been loved by players in the hard rock/heavy metal scene for many years as a guitar brand as well as an amp brand.
We are pleased to announce the arrival of the HP Special CT Custom, one of the HP series made in 2008.
It is a signature model of Hartley Peavey, founder of Peavey, Inc. It is a signature model of Mr. Hartley Peavey, the founder of Peavey.
The thick quilted maple top, bird's eye maple neck, flame maple head veneer, and other rare woods are used in abundance, and the natural color finish brings out the beauty of the wood grain.

The neck shape has a good thickness, giving a comfortable grip similar to a D-shape, and it has a good fit so that a wide range of players, regardless of their style, will find it easy to grip.
The fret size is about medium, and thanks to a design that looks like it was cut based on the former Wolfgang model, it is well balanced when held and has good access to the high position.

The wood construction features a quilted maple top, mahogany back, maple neck, and maple fingerboard.
The mid-low range has a thick core and you can enjoy a powerful sound with impressive bouncy high range.

The original humbucker model Peavey Original Humbucking pickups are mounted.
The high output value and straightforward character of the pickups make it easy to bring out the characteristics of the instrument. The clean tone has a sense of warmth, and the tone with good tone grain reproduces phrases and nuances beautifully.
When driven, it is also compatible with high-gain sounds, and its thicker, more powerful sound can be used in a wide range of scenes, including rock genres.

There are some scratches and dents from age and use, and some paint cracks near the neck joint, but the frets are still strong and the truss rod works well, so it is in ready-to-play condition for many years to come.

This is a high quality instrument with good looks, high playability, and a fat sound.
