Eddie Van Halenによって創設され、彼のアイディアを元に様々なバリエーションモデルを生み出して来たEVH。
今回入荷致しましたのは本家USA製のWolfgangモデル。
カラーも高い人気を有するIvoryの個体と成ります。

新品での入荷も中々少ない当モデルですがネックシェイプはコンパクトな握り心地を持つ専用シェイプWolfgang Backshapeを採用。
Dシェイプに近い握り心地は手の小さな方やプレイヤーのスタイルを問わず幅広い方々にも握りやすいと感じて頂ける印象を持っております。
またネック裏もきめ細かい艶消しの塗装が施されておりますので長時間の演奏や素早いポジション移動の際も滑らかな弾き心地が楽しめます。
指板面は12"Rから16"Rへ徐々に変化して行くコンパウンドラディアス指板を採用し、フレットはヴィンテージサイズのステンレスフレットを採用等テクニカルなフレーズも弾きやすく、氏のこだわりが感じられる高い演奏性を有しております。
小ぶりなボディも抱えやすく、座った際のバランスの良さもWolfgangシェイプの魅力でもあります。

木材構成はバスウッドボディ、メイプルネック、エボニー指板からの構成を採用。
4kg弱としっかりとした重量を持ち、氏がブランド設立前に使用していたP社の構成に近い組み合わせは中低域の太さを感じさせながらもまとまりやすく、伸びやかな高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのハムバッカーモデルEVH Wolfgang USA Humbuckingを採用。
出力の高さによる厚みと明るさを感じさせる音色はクリーントーンでも活躍し、フルアップ時でのハリと太さのある力強い音色やセンター時にボリュームを調整する事で生まれる煌びやかさ、トーンを絞った際も輪郭を保った艶やかな音色等数多くのプロ達にも愛されている事が頷けるロックスタイルに留まらないサウンドの懐も広い品です。
ドライヴ時にはその厚みを活かしたこれぞというサウンドが楽しめ、立ち上がりの良さ、反応の良さを活かしたテクニカルなフレーズ等への対応力の高さが魅力の音色を出力してくれます。
またSignatureモデルと違いキルスイッチを搭載していないモデルと成ります為普段使用しないシンプルな操作性を求める方にもおススメなモデルです。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや細かい打痕、Dチューナーの調整イモネジの欠品等が見受けられますがフレットの減りも少なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好なこれからも末永くお使い頂ける良好なコンディション。

シンプルなルックスとUSA製らしい品質の高さ、サウンドの良さ、演奏性の高さ等各部の良さが際立つ高水準な品です。

Founded by Eddie Van Halen, EVH has created various variations based on his ideas.
We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Wolfgang model made in the USA.
The color is Ivory, which is also very popular.

The back of the neck is also coated with a fine matte finish, so it is smooth and comfortable to play even when playing for long periods of time or moving quickly from one position to another.
The fretboard has a compound radius fretboard that gradually changes from 12 "R to 16 "R. Vintage size stainless steel frets are used for easy playing of technical phrases, and the high playability can be felt from the attention to detail of the guitarist.
The small body is easy to hold, and the good balance when sitting down is another charm of the Wolfgang shape.

The wood construction consists of a basswood body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard.
The weight is solid at just under 4 kg, a combination similar to the P Company configuration used by Mr. Wolfgang before he established the brand, which gives a sense of thickness in the mid-low range, but is easy to integrate, and the extended high range is impressive.

The pickups are the original humbucker model EVH Wolfgang USA Humbucking.
The tone that gives a sense of thickness and brightness due to its high output is also active in clean tones, and the powerful tone with bounce and thickness when fully up, the sparkling tone produced by adjusting the volume at the center, and the glossy tone that maintains its contour even when the tone is turned down, etc. No wonder it is loved by many professionals. It is a product with a wide range of sound that is not limited to rock style.
When driving, you can enjoy a sound that makes full use of its thickness, and its high response to technical phrases, etc., utilizing its good rise and responsiveness, gives it an attractive tone.
Unlike the Signature model, this model does not have a kill switch, making it a recommended model for those who seek simple operability that is not used on a daily basis.

The condition of the guitar has some scratches and minor dings from age and use, and the D tuner is missing an adjusting screw, but the frets are in good condition and the truss rod is in good working order.

The simple looks, USA-made quality, good sound, and high playability make this a high-standard instrument that stands out from the crowd.
