Eddie Van Halenの名を冠し、彼の残した功績を多くのプレイヤー達に伝えているEVHブランド。
こちらはアイコンでもあるWolfgangシリーズのメキシコ工場製、Specialラインにて製作されたモデル、Wolfgang Special。
現在では廃版と成ってしまった美しいフレイムメイプルのカーブドトップ仕様を持ったBlack Cherry Burstの個体。
高級感を感じさせる色合いとグラマラスなボディデザインがカッコ良く、ゼブラカラーのピックアップもアクセントに成っている品です。

ネックシェイプは専用のWolfgang Backshapeを採用。
41.3mmというコンパクトなナット幅との組み合わせのおかげで手の小さな方にも握りやすいと感じて頂ける良質なフィット感を持ち、オイルフィニッシュのネック裏も長時間の演奏の中でもストレスが少ないです。
指板面も12"Rから16"Rへ徐々に広がって行くコンパウンドラディアス指板を採用し、フレットもジャンボサイズを使用しているのでEVHスタイルを始めとしたハードロックスタイルのプレイも行いやすいです。

木材構成はメイプルトップ、バスウッドバック、メイプルネック、メイプル指板を使用。
クセの少ないバスウッドのおかげで中低域は太さがありながらもまとまりが良く、ハリのある高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのWolfgang Humbuckingをマウント。
パワフルなサウンドは木材の持つキャラクターとも相性が良く、クリーントーンではハリと太さが感じられる音色がフレーズの再現性も高く、クリアな音色が楽しめます。
ドライヴ時にはその太さを活かした迫力のあるサウンドがハイゲインに良く合い、EVHの名を冠するモデルらしいサウンドを出力してくれます。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ等がございますが大きく目立つ物は無く、トラスロッドの効きも良好、フレットの減りも少ない、これからも末永くお使い頂ける即戦力のコンディション。

The EVH brand, named after Eddie Van Halen, carries on his legacy and shares his achievements with many players.
This is the Wolfgang Special, a model from the Special line manufactured at the Mexico factory, which is also an icon of the Wolfgang series.
This beautiful Black Cherry Burst model features a curved top made of flame maple, which is now discontinued.
The elegant color scheme and glamorous body design give it a stylish appearance, with zebra-colored pickups adding a stylish accent.

The neck shape features the proprietary Wolfgang Backshape.
Combined with a compact nut width of 41.3mm, it offers an excellent fit that is comfortable for players with smaller hands, and the oil-finished neck back reduces stress even during extended playing sessions.
The fingerboard features a compound radius design that gradually expands from 12“R to 16”R, and the jumbo-sized frets make it easy to play EVH-style and other hard rock styles.

The wood construction includes a maple top, basswood back, maple neck, and maple fingerboard.
Thanks to the neutral basswood, the mid-low frequencies are rich yet well-balanced, while the bright high frequencies create an impressive combination.

The pickup is the original Wolfgang Humbucking.
The powerful sound complements the wood's character, and in clean tones, the sound is bright and rich, with high phrase reproduction and a clear tone.
When driven, the powerful sound that leverages its richness pairs well with high gain, delivering the signature sound of an EVH-named model.

The condition shows minor scratches, dents, and slight discoloration or rust on parts due to age and use, but there are no major issues. The truss rod functions well, and the frets show minimal wear, making it a reliable instrument that can be enjoyed for years to come.
