その高い演奏性やサウンドの良さから今やHR/HMシーンのプレイヤー以外にも多くの人達に愛されるブランドと成ったCharvel。
今回入荷致しました品は2022年に限定モデルとして発売され、国内の入荷数も僅かだったレアモデルHenrik Danhage Limited Edition Signature Pro Mod So-Cal Style 1。
Charvelのスタンダードモデルと言えるSo-CalのStyle 1をベースに渋く、目を惹く激しいレリックを施し、HS構成、1ボリューム、リバースヘッドとシグネチャーモデルらしいルックスとこだわりを感じさせる品です。

スウェーデンのプログレッシヴパワーメタルバンドEVERGREYのギタリストとして活躍している氏の希望を反映させたこちらのモデルはネックシェイプは薄く仕上げられたSpeed Neckを採用し、指板サイドも丸めたRolled Fingerboard Edgeにて仕上げられております。
そのおかげで握った際のストレスも少なく、オイルフィニッシュに近い質感を持つサテン塗装のネック裏との組み合わせも素早いポジション移動の際等もスムーズに行えます。
指板面は12"Rから16"Rへ徐々に変化して行くコンパウンドラディアス指板を採用し、フレットもジャンボサイズを使用。
テクニカルなフレーズやスピーディーな運指も行いやすい、良質な演奏性が楽しめます。

木材構成はアッシュボディ、メイプルネック、メイプル指板からの組み合わせを採用。
芯の太さとまとまりの良さが感じられる力強い中低域とハリのある明るい高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップにはフロントにDiMarzio DP419CR Area 67とリアにはSeymour Duncan TB4 JBをそれぞれにマウント。
クリーントーンではギターのキャラクターと共にフロントでの音色は粒立ちと明るさが際立つハリの良いサウンドが楽しめ、リアでも厚みのある豊かなミッドレンジを出力してくれます。
またボリュームコントロールによって繊細な表現もしやすく、立ち上がりの良さ、反応の良さも感じれます。
ドライヴ時にはその明るさを活かし、深い歪みの中でも輪郭が崩れづらく、パワフルなサウンドが楽しめます。
またこちらの個体はキルスイッチを増設しており、表現の幅もより増した遊び心のあるモディファイが施されております。

コンディションは元々のレリック加工の為新たに付いた傷等は判別が難しいですが大きく付いた様な物は無く、トラスロッドの効きも良好、フレットの減りも少ない、良好な即戦力としてお使い頂けるコンディション。

その入荷数の少なさから当時逃した方はもちろん、弾き込める良質なスーパーストラトスタイルのギターをお探しの方にもお勧めさせて頂ける一品です。

Charvel has become a brand loved not only by players in the HR/HM scene but also by many others due to its high playability and excellent sound.
The item we have recently received is the Henrik Danhage Limited Edition Signature Pro Mod So-Cal Style 1, a rare model released as a limited edition in 2022 with only a few units available in Japan.
Based on Charvel's standard So-Cal Style 1 model, this guitar features a bold, eye-catching relic finish, an HS configuration, a single volume control, and a reverse headstock, all of which reflect the signature model's distinctive look and attention to detail.

This model reflects the preferences of Henrik Danhage, the guitarist of the Swedish progressive power metal band EVERGREY. It features a thin Speed Neck design and rounded Rolled Fingerboard Edge on the fretboard sides.
This design reduces stress when holding the guitar and, combined with the satin finish on the neck back, which has a texture similar to oil finish, allows for smooth position changes during rapid playing.
The fingerboard features a compound radius design that gradually changes from 12“R to 16”R, and jumbo-sized frets are used.
This combination offers excellent playability, making it easy to perform technical phrases and fast fingerwork.

The wood construction consists of an ash body, maple neck, and maple fingerboard.
The combination of a strong mid-low range with a thick core and good cohesion, and a bright high range with a crisp tone, creates an impressive sound.

The pickups feature a DiMarzio DP419CR Area 67 in the front and a Seymour Duncan TB4 JB in the rear.
In clean tones, the front pickup delivers a crisp, bright sound with good clarity, while the rear pickup produces a rich midrange with a full body.
The volume control allows for subtle expression, with excellent attack and responsiveness.
In drive mode, the brightness shines through, maintaining clarity even in deep distortion, delivering a powerful sound.
This particular instrument also features an added kill switch, offering a playful modification that expands expressive possibilities.

The condition is good, with no major scratches or damage, and the truss rod functions well, with minimal fret wear. It is in excellent condition and ready to use.

Due to the limited number of units available at the time, this is a recommended item not only for those who missed out on it back then but also for those seeking a high-quality Super Strat-style guitar that can be played extensively.
