日本を代表する楽器ブランドの一つIbanez。
今回入荷致しました品はモダンエクストリームシーンのプレイヤー達からも高い人気を誇るRGシェイプの派生モデルRGDシリーズの国産7弦モデル、RGD3127。
全体をつや消し加工を施し、細かいラメが煌めくPearl White Flatのカラーとメイプル指板の組み合わせが上品な高級感を感じさせてくれる佇まいです。

ネックシェイプは程よい厚みを持たせた専用のWizard-7 Prestige RGDシェイプを採用。
Ibanezのモデルとしては少し厚みを感じさせながらもきめ細かく仕上げられたつや消し加工と共に素早いポジション移動や長時間の演奏の中でもストレスの少ない良質な握り心地を有しております。
またスケールも673.5mm/26.5"を採用しているので7弦のテンション感もしっかりと感じられ、ローチューニングの中でもハリを保ってくれる点も魅力です。

木材構成はバスウッドボディ、メイプルとウェンジを合わせた5ピースネック、バーズアイメイプル指板からの組み合わせを採用。
中低域はまとまりの良さと重厚感を感じさせ、明るく、ハリのある高域が印象的なバランスの良い組み合わせです。

ピックアップにはDiMarzio製Fusion Edge 7をマウント。
一つ一つの音のまとまりも良く、反応の速いハリのある音色はクリーントーンでも活躍し、フレーズの再現性や細かなニュアンスも表現しやすいです。
またトーンを絞った際もサウンドの輪郭を保ったメロウな音色も扱いやすいです。
ドライヴ時にはハイゲインサウンドの中でも整えられた重厚な7弦らしいサウンドが楽しめ、複雑なソロワークへの再現性、重厚で速いリフへの追従性も良好な、エクストリームシーンのプレイヤー達から支持されている事も頷ける音色です。
またシンプルなセレクターと1ボリュームのみという組み合わせも演奏中のトラブルが少ない、実戦的な仕様も嬉しいです。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや細かい打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、一部塗装の欠けが見受けられますがフレットの減りも少なく、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもお使い頂ける良好なコンディション。

現在では生産が完了と成ってしまいましたがそのルックスと仕様、サウンドの良さから根強いファンも多い品です。

Ibanez is one of Japan's leading musical instrument brands.
The product we have received this time is the RGD3127, a 7-string model manufactured in Japan, which is a derivative model of the RG shape that is highly popular among players in the modern extreme scene.
The entire body has a matte finish, and the combination of the Pearl White Flat color with fine glitter and the maple fingerboard gives it an elegant and luxurious look.

The neck shape features the proprietary Wizard-7 Prestige RGD shape with a moderate thickness.
While slightly thicker than typical Ibanez models, the meticulously finished matte finish ensures a comfortable grip, allowing for quick position changes and stress-free playing even during extended sessions.
Additionally, the scale length of 673.5mm/26.5" ensures that the tension of the 7th string is well-balanced, maintaining its clarity even in low tunings.

The wood construction features a basswood body, a 5-piece neck combining maple and wenge, and a bird's-eye maple fingerboard.
The mid-low frequencies have a cohesive and rich feel, while the bright, crisp high frequencies create a well-balanced combination.

The pickup is a DiMarzio Fusion Edge 7.
Each note has a cohesive sound, and the quick response and crisp tone perform well even in clean tones, making it easy to reproduce phrases and express subtle nuances.
Even when the tone is rolled off, the sound retains its contour, offering a smooth, easy-to-handle tone.
In drive mode, the guitar delivers a well-balanced, rich 7-string sound even at high gain levels, with excellent reproduction of complex solo work and smooth tracking of heavy, fast riffs—a sound that makes it a favorite among extreme scene players.
The simple selector and single volume knob combination also reduces the likelihood of issues during performance, making it a practical design.

The condition shows signs of age and use, including scratches, minor dents, discoloration and rust on parts, and some paint chips. However, the frets have minimal wear, and the truss rod functions well, making it a reliable instrument that can be used immediately.

Although production has ceased, this model remains popular among dedicated fans due to its appearance, specifications, and sound quality.
