惜しまれながらも生産が完了してしまったFERNANDES。
数多くの国内アーティストモデルを輩出して来た同ブランドですがその中でも特に高い人気を有していたhide氏のモデル、MGシリーズ。
今回入荷致しました品は数あるモデルの中でもその目を惹くルックスから高い人気を持つMG-145X Graphic on BL。
90年代前半のBlue Blood期のステージでも使用されていたサイケデリックなルックスを再現したシグネチャーモデルと成ります。
その複雑なパターンと華やかな色合いは今なお唯一無二の個性を光らせる品です。

ネックシェイプは比較的スリムな形状を持つDシェイプに近い握り心地を持ち、プレイヤーのスタイルを問わず幅広い方々にも握りやすいと感じて頂けます。
また小ぶりなボディも抱えやすく、ミディアムスケールのネックを採用という事もあり、良好な演奏性を有している点も魅力です。

木材構成はマホガニーボディ、メイプルネック、ローズウッド指板からの構成を採用。
中低域は太さがありながらもまとまりが良く、ハリのある高域が印象的な組み合わせです。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのハムバッカーモデルSH-1とDF-1をマウント。
程よい出力値が扱いやすく、クリーントーンでは艶やかさと太さを感じさせる音色が楽しめ、ボリュームを絞る事でより繊細な表現も可能としてくれる汎用性の高さもございます。
ドライヴ時にはハイゲインサウンドとの相性も良好な骨太な音色が楽しめ、ルックスらしいパワフルなサウンドが楽しめます。

コンディションは経年や使用に伴うスリキズや打痕、パーツ類のくすみやサビ、一部塗装の割れや欠け、剥がれ、ペイントの剥がれ等が見受けられますがフレットの余力もしっかりとあり、トラスロッドの効きも良好な即戦力としてこれからもお使い頂けるコンディション。

Fernandesの閉鎖により現在では中古市場でも余り見かける事が少なくなってしまったモデル。

The much-lamented FERNANDES has ceased production.
This brand has produced numerous domestic artist models, but among them, the MG series, featuring hide's model, was particularly popular.
The item we have received this time is the MG-145X Graphic on BL, which is highly popular among the many models due to its eye-catching appearance.
This signature model recreates the psychedelic look used on stage during the Blue Blood era of the early 1990s.
Its complex patterns and vibrant colors continue to shine with a unique personality.

The neck shape features a relatively slim D-shape grip, offering a comfortable feel for players of all styles.
Additionally, the compact body is easy to hold, and the medium-scale neck contributes to excellent playability, making it a highly appealing instrument.

The wood construction features a mahogany body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The mid-low frequencies are rich yet well-balanced, while the bright high frequencies create an impressive combination.

The pickups are the original humbucker models SH-1 and DF-1.
The moderate output level is easy to handle, and the clean tone offers a rich and full sound, while turning down the volume allows for more delicate expression, showcasing its versatility.
When driven, it delivers a robust sound that pairs well with high-gain tones, offering the powerful sound characteristic of the brand.

The condition shows signs of age and use, including scratches, dents, discoloration and rust on parts, some paint cracks, chips, and peeling, but the frets have plenty of life left, and the truss rod functions well, making it a reliable instrument that can be used for years to come.

Due to Fernandes' closure, this model is now rarely seen even in the used market.
