KISSのPaul Stanleyのトレードマークのギターと言えばIbanezのPS!! サスティーンブロック入り!!


1978年に当時としては画期的なオリジナルシェイプのエレキギターIcemanをベースにより豪華なルックスを与えられデビューしたPaul StanleyモデルPS10、
Paulはその後、他のブランドのギターも多く使用してきましたが90年代、そして現在とIbanezに戻り使用しています。やはりPaul、そしてKissはこのギターじゃないとしっくりとこないでしょう!!
こちらは、2015年に久々にリイシューされたモデルの初年度製となっています。

ボディはPSの基本である、Maple Top、Mahogany Back、Les Paulなどでお馴染みの太いサウンドながら抜けの良い構造となっており、エッジにはアバロンパーフリング入りのセルバインディングが施されゴージャスなルックスとなっています。

ネックには3ピースのMaple材が使用されており強度も申し分なしです。セットネックジョイントで、滑らかに仕上げられたSmooth Heelは抜群の演奏性となっています。
指板には音の立ち上がりに優れ程よい滑りのEbonyを使用、ポジションマークには伝統のAcrylic & Abalone block inlayとなっており、ナットには初期のPSでお馴染みのHalf-Bone/Half-Brass nutが使用されています。

ピックアップにはSeymor Duncanを使用、フロントにSh-1n 59、リアにTB-5Custom 5を搭載、近年のPSに準じており、Classicsから近年のKissサウンドまでカバー致します。
コントロールはシンプルなフロントボリューム、リアボリューム、マスタートーン、3wayピックアップセレクターとなっています。

ネックのコンディションに問題はございません。フレットの目立った凹みは無く、充分残っています。

目立た無い細かい傷はございますが、コレクターズコンディションと言っても良いでしょう!!

現在では受注生産モデルとなっており、ブリッジの形状もサスティーンブロックのない、Gotoh GE103B-Tに変更されています!!

やはり、ブリッジはGibraltarにSustain Block付!!にこだわる方に!!

KISS's Paul Stanley's trademark guitar is the Ibanez PS! It even has a sustain block!

The Paul Stanley PS10 debuted in 1978, based on the then-groundbreaking original-shaped electric guitar, the Iceman, and given a more luxurious look.
Paul has since played many other brands, but has returned to Ibanez in the '90s and now. It's hard to imagine a guitar that is more Paul and more Kiss than this one!
This is the first year of the model, reissued in 2015 for the first time in a long time.

The body features the PS's signature maple top and mahogany back, delivering the rich, clear sound familiar from Les Pauls. The edges are finished with abalone purfling and cell binding for a gorgeous look.

The neck is made of three-piece maple for superior strength. The set neck joint and smooth heel provide exceptional playability.
The fingerboard is made of ebony, which has excellent response and a moderate smoothness, the position markers feature the traditional acrylic and abalone block inlays, and the nut is the half-bone/half-brass nut familiar from early PS models.

The pickups are Seymor Duncan, with an Sh-1n 59 in the neck and a TB-5Custom 5 in the bridge, and are in line with recent PS models, covering everything from Classics to the more recent Kiss sound.

The controls are simple: front volume, rear volume, master tone, and a 3-way pickup selector.

The neck is in excellent condition. There are no noticeable dents in the frets, and they remain in good condition.

There are some minor, unnoticeable scratches, but this guitar is in collector's condition!

This is now a made-to-order model, and the bridge has been changed to a Gotoh GE103B-T without a sustain block!

This Gibraltar bridge with a sustain block is perfect for those who insist on it!
