Snapper登場以前、カスタムオーダーを軸とした個性的な楽器を製造するブランドとして世界的に認知をされていましたが、2003年、ESP創業30周年の時に、今一度原点に立ち返り、シンプルでプレアビリティの高いコンポーネントモデルとしてSnapperが誕生いたします。

デビューより、20年以上が経った今、多くの派生モデルが登場しています。
こちらは現在レギュラーラインは生産終了となっているSnapper CTM-24をベースにCustomオーダーとモディファイがされ、贅沢に仕上げられた1本

ボディは美しい杢目の希少材Quilted MapleをトップにAlderをバックにした出音のバランスの良い木材を使用、ネックには強度に優れたHard Mapleを使用、指板にはレスポンスに優れたMapleを使用し24フレットで超高音までカバーします。指板のラディアスは240R-305R高音側に向かって緩くなるコンパウンドラディアスを採用、低い弦高セッティングでも、ビビりにくくコードも押さえ易くなっています。
ネックシェイプは、レギュラーモデルにはない、ローポジション側でV、ハイポジション側でUシェイプとなっており、コードワークからソロワーク両方の弾きやすさを両立しております。

ピックアップにはTom Andersonの HSH配列、フロントにH1、センターにSA2、リアにH3となっており、甘めのクリーンからスムーズなミドルゲインサウンドに対応、更にスナッパーの特長である、ハーフトーンポジションではミニスイッチによって、ブリッジ側ではリアシングル＋センター、リアシングル＋フロントハムの切り替え、ネック側ではフロントハム＋センター＋リアシングル、フロントハム＋センターの切り替えが出来、トーンポットのPush-Pushスイッチによってトーンの掛りの深い、浅いが切り替えられるようになっており、多彩なサウンドバリエーションとなっいます。

ブリッジにはダブルロックトレモロの最高峰、ドイツ製FloydRose Originalを搭載、振幅の大きなアーミングでも、チューニングをキープいたします。ロックナットは木ネジの上から止めるタイプでは無く、ネック裏から六角ボルトで止めるタイプ、こちらの方がナットが動き難く、この部分でチューニングの狂う要因を排除できるこだわりの仕様となっています。インサートブロックがチタンに交換、さび易いロックナットマウントスクリュー、ストリングロックスクリューがステンレス製に交換され耐久性がアップしています。アームがChromeカラーとなります。

ネックのコンディションに問題はございません。フレットは若干の凹みはございますが、音の詰まり等はございません。

指板サイドに黒ずみがございます。ボディネックに小さな打痕、擦り傷が幾つかございます。

This luxuriously modified model is part of the popular SMAPPER series from ESP, Japan's leading custom guitar brand!

Before the Snapper debut, ESP was globally recognized for its unique instruments, primarily focused on custom orders. In 2003, on the occasion of ESP's 30th anniversary, the company returned to its roots and reborn the Snapper as a simple, highly playable component model.

More than 20 years have passed since its debut, and many derivative models have been released.
This luxuriously finished guitar is a custom-ordered and modified version of the Snapper CTM-24, a model currently out of production in the regular line.

The body features a beautifully grained, rare Quilted Maple top and Alder back for a well-balanced sound. The neck is made of durable Hard Maple, and the fingerboard features responsive Maple, providing coverage all the way to the very high notes with 24 frets. The fingerboard features a 240R-305R compound radius that tapers toward the treble, making it easier to play chords and less buzzing, even with a low string height setting.

The neck shape is a V-shape in the low positions and a U-shape in the high positions, not found on the regular model, making it easy to play both chords and solos.

The pickups are Tom Anderson's HSH configuration: H1 in the neck, SA2 in the center, and H3 in the bridge, providing a sweet clean sound to a smooth mid-gain tone. Another unique feature of the Snapper is the mini switch in the half-tone position, which allows you to switch between bridge single-coil + center or bridge single-coil + front-humbucker on the bridge side, and front-humbucker + center + rear single-coil or front-humbucker + center on the neck side. The push-push tone pot allows you to adjust the tone depth for a wide variety of sounds.

The bridge is equipped with a German-made Floyd Rose Original, the pinnacle of double-locking tremolo technology, ensuring tuning remains stable even with large arm movements. The locking nut is secured with a hex bolt on the back of the neck, rather than a wood screw. This prevents the nut from moving, eliminating the risk of tuning going out of tune. The insert block has been replaced with titanium, and the locking nut mounting screw and string lock screw, which are prone to rust, have been replaced with stainless steel for increased durability. The arm is chrome-colored.

The neck is in excellent condition. There are some slight dents in the frets, but no blockages or other issues.

There is some blackening on the side of the fingerboard. There are a few small dents and scratches on the body neck.
