プロ仕様のカスタムギターの製作で知られ'80年代人気を博したアメリカのブランド「ヴァリー・アーツ」。
創始者であるマイク・マグワイア氏による監修の日本製ライセンスモデル「Mシリーズ」のTスタイルモデルです。

ラリー・カールトン氏の使用で有名なモデルとは異なりこちらはほぼフルサイズのボディにロングスケールのネックを採用。
ホローボディ構造とネックポジション・ハムバッカーというユニークなスペックです。

メイプルネックはソフトVシェイプに仕上げられ、濃い色合いのエボニー指板にパールドットポジションが上品な印象です。

アッシュボディのトップエッジには、アコースティックギターの装飾で用いられる「ヘリンボーン・バインディング」を施し、落ち着いた高級感のある雰囲気に仕上がっています。
ボディバックのエッジは丸く面取りされ、ネックジョイント付近に落とし込み加工をすることで、抱えやすく、ハイポジションの演奏性を高めています。

ネックポジションのピックアップはアメリカ テキサスのハンドメイド品「ヴァンザント」のPAFスタイルをマウント。VOLポットを引っ張ることでコイルタップすることができ、ジャンルに合わせて対応できます。
ブリッジポジションにはやや高出力なシングルコイル。ピックアップをマウントし、ファットな音色を生み出します。

年代相応のキズやパーツの傷みなど使用感がございます。
ペグを交換した形跡があり、現在はオリジナルに戻されています。
ナット、フレットは一度交換されているようで、当店入荷時フレットすり合わせを施工し、音詰まりなく快適な演奏性に調整済みです。

Valley Arts is an American brand known for creating professional-grade custom guitars and gained popularity in the 1980s. This is a T-style model from the M Series, a Japanese-made licensed model overseen by Valley Arts founder Mike McGuire.

Unlike the model famously used by Larry Carlton, this guitar features a nearly full-size body with a long-scale neck.

Its unique specifications include hollowbody construction and a neck-position humbucker.

The maple neck is finished in a soft V-shape, and the dark ebony fingerboard with pearl dot positions adds an elegant touch.

The top edge of the ash body is decorated with herringbone binding, a design often used to decorate acoustic guitars, giving it a subdued, luxurious feel.
The edges of the back of the body are rounded and chamfered, and the area around the neck joint is recessed, making it easier to hold and improving playability in the upper registers.

The neck pickup is a PAF-style Van Zandt pickup, handmade in Texas, USA. Pulling the VOL pot allows for coil tapping, allowing you to customize the tone to suit your genre. The bridge position is fitted with a slightly higher-output single-coil pickup, producing a fat tone.

There are signs of use such as scratches and damaged parts appropriate for its age.
There are signs that the tuning machines have been replaced, but they have now been restored to their original original form.
The nut and frets appear to have been replaced once, but when it arrived at our store, the frets were filed and adjusted for comfortable playability without choking.

This is an attractive masterpiece with a stylish look that looks great whether you're playing jazz, blues, or rock. If you're interested, don't miss out!
